Uzbek judokas to compete in the Grand Slam tournament in Paris
There is not much time left before the start of major competitions in the world of judo. On February 1-2, the first tournament of the new season on judo “Grand Slam” will be held in the capital of France.
More than 250 representatives from about 50 countries of the world, including judokas of Uzbekistan national team, will compete in these competitions. According to the Judo Federation of Uzbekistan, Bakhrom Boturov (-60 kg), Shahram Ahadov (-73 kg) and Utkirbek Turaboev (+100 kg) will fight for medals in Paris.
Within the framework of this tournament the winners of 2024 in the world of judo will be determined. It should be reminded that in 5 nominations introduced by the International Judo Federation (IJF), candidates representing Uzbek judo can be found.
