Uzbek sambo wrestlers returned from the "Tatarstan President Cup" tournament with three medals

Uzbek sambo wrestlers also took part in the international sambo tournament "Tatarstan President Cup" in Kazan, Russia, and returned home with three medals.

 

207 athletes from 15 countries of the world competed for prizes in this competition, which was organized for the fourth time. At the end of the international tournament, three Uzbek sambo wrestlers were among the winners.

 

In particular, Firdavs Khojimamatov reached the final and won a silver medal in the weight category -79 kg. Another wrestler Nemat Yakubov (98 kg) also won a silver medal. Sanat Ismanov, who took part in the sambo competitions in the weight category -71 kg, returned home with a bronze medal.
