In recent years, special attention has been paid in Uzbekistan to the development of physical culture and mass sports, the selection of young, talented athletes and their preparation for international competitions. At the same time, one of the priorities in the international sports arenas is to encourage talented athletes who are raising the flag of Uzbekistan.
The Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan has issued a decree on awarding athletes and their coaches who achieved high results at the World Sambo Championship, which was held on November 3-9 in Novi Sad, Serbia.
According to the order, for winning the gold medal:
Bakiev Bakhodir Narzullaevich and Khamroev Davlatjon Alisher oglu with $ 10,000,
For winning the silver medal:
Ogajonova Ibodatkhon Lochinbek qizi;
Yakubov Nemat Isak oglu;
Ruziev Furkat Iskandarovich;
Saidamatov Lutfulla Khairulla oglu with $ 5,000,
For winning the bronze medal:
Gadoev Dilshod Aslam oglu;
Ernazarov Sarbon Solijon oglu;
Ziyaeva Gulnoza Mavlonkulovna;
Rakhmonov Ulugbek Avazjon oglu will be awarded a cash prize of $ 2,500.
Akhmedov Umid Khamrokulovich and Juraev Farkhod Ashurovich also won gold medals for $ 3,000, and their disciples won silver medals:
Akhmedov Abdugani Hamrokulovich;
Jurakulov Khudoynazar Rajabovich;
Karabaev Jakhongir Sodikovich;
Rasulov Bakhrom Narimanovich will be awarded $ 1,500 and Asrorov Sardor Mekhroj oglu, Khalikova Khurshida Narzullaevna, Gulyamov Ravshan Toirovich and Shakirov Roman Ildarovich will be awarded one-time cash prizes of $ 1,000 each.
