Uzbekistan referees will work in "jch-2026" qualifiers

Asian continent qualifying matches for the 2026 football World Cup, scheduled to be held in North America, began in October of this year. In a significant way, several of our judges and supervisors have received appointments for these qualifying matches.

To control the Philippines-Vietnam match, which took place from the 1st round of Qualifying, 3 of our referees – Rustam Lutfullin (chief referee), Alisher Usmanov and Ruslan Serazitdinov (two assistant referees) - were appointed by FIFA. Also, for the Australia – Bangladesh match within the same tour, our referees — Ahrol Risqullaev (Chief Judge), Sanjar Shoyusupov and Andrei Sapenko (assistant referees) - received appointments. The Myanmar - North Korea match within the 2nd round was set to feature Ilgiz Tantashev (head referee), Andrei Sapenko and Timur Gaynullin. In addition, the performance of our Representative – Valentin Kovalenko — as the supervisor of the judges in the Nepal-Yemen match, which took place from the 2nd round, was established.
