Uzbekistan U-19 leave for 2019 AFC U-19 Women's Championship Qualifiers Round 2

Eight teams will begin the hunt for four remaining places at the AFC U-19 Women's Championship Thailand 2019 on Friday, as Round 2 of qualifying begins in Myanmar and Vietnam.

Mandalay and Hanoi will act as the respective host cities for Groups A and B, as the eight teams to have successfully navigated last October's opening round turn their gaze towards joining Japan, DPR Korea, China PR and hosts Thailand at this year's Finals.

Uzbekistan's hopes may hinge on their opening day encounter with group hosts Myanmar, who are plotting a return to the Finals after missing out in 2015 and 2017, while Nepal are aiming for a first appearance in the tournament proper since 2004, after wins over Pakistan and India last October propelled them to the final eight.
