Uzbekistan’s Gymnasts Head to Singapore for Key Asian Championship Qualifier
From May 16 to 18, Singapore becomes the center of attention for Asian rhythmic gymnastics as it hosts a key qualifying event. Athletes from 19 countries will gather to compete for both medals and a chance to earn spots at the upcoming World Championships in Brazil this August.
For Uzbekistan’s national team, this competition marks an important test of skill and ambition. A total of 17 gymnasts will represent the country, taking part in both individual and group routines across junior and senior levels.
In the senior individual category, Takhmina Ikromova, Anastasia Sarantseva, and Natalya Usova will take the floor, while juniors Viktoriya Nikiforova and Sofia Usova aim to impress with their performances.
In group routines, the senior squad includes Mumtoza Iskhakzoda, Irodakhon Sadikova, Evelina Atalyants, Amalia Mamedova, Adelya Fayzulina, and Maftuna Zairova. Their junior counterparts – Alana Khafizova, Milana Safina, Kristina Shin, Jasmin Yakhlakova, Yosina Juraeva, and Zamira Khvalcheva – will also showcase their talent.
With a ticket to the World Championships on the line, Uzbekistan’s gymnasts are set to give their all in Singapore, demonstrating the strength and elegance of their national program.
