Uzbekistan's women's boxing team finished the World Cup with a historic result

The results of the World Women's Boxing Championship have been summarized in Niš (Serbia). Uzbekistan's national team won 1 silver and 3 bronze medals for the first time in its history at the world championship.

In the final fight in the weight category up to 66 kg Navbahor Khamidova lost to the favorite of the tournament - Olympic champion and winner of the world championship Busenaz Surmenli from Turkey. Nevertheless, she became the first Uzbek female boxer to reach the finals of the world championships. Uzbekistan's national team medalists:
