Uzbekistan’s Youth Judo Team Joins International Training Camp in Istanbul

Following a strong showing at the 2025 European Cup in Istanbul, Uzbekistan’s youth national judo team has remained in the Turkish city to take part in an international training camp.

Led by coach Kamal Murodov, our young judoists earned an impressive second place in the team standings among competitors from 30 countries across five continents — securing 2 gold, 1 silver, and 1 bronze medal.

After the tournament concluded, the international training camp brought together top talents from various nations, including members of Uzbekistan’s national team. These joint sessions provide valuable opportunities for athletes to exchange techniques, improve skills, and gain international experience on the tatami.
