Uzbekistan’s Rakhmatullo Toshpulatov defeats China’s Qian Jiahao on the ASBC Youth Boxing Championships Opening Day

Uzbekistan’s Rakhmatullo Toshpulatov claimed silver medal in the Puerto Princesa 2017 ASBC Asian Junior Boxing Championships but since then he proved tough developments.

The Uzbek used his longer reach in his opening bout against China’s Qian Jiahao which was an important challenge at the lightweight (60kg) on Day1. The Chinese southpaw was patient and waited for the best attacking moments and tried to pressurize Toshpulatov who looked technically better today.

The final verdict was split decision in the favour of the Uzbek boxer who advanced to the last eight in Ulaanbaatar.
