Uzbekistan’s Shakhram Akhadov beats Tal Flicker of Israel for a bronze medal in Budapest Grand Prix

550 judokas from 82 nations will compete for medals in Hungary capital from 12 July 2019 to 14 July 2019.

Uzbekistan’s 15 athletes also started their preparation on Friday. In the first semi-final, Tashkent Grand Prix bronze medallist Uzbekistan’s Shakhram Akhadov could not impose himself against Ganbold Kherlen who forced the Uzbek to receive three penalties.

However, Uzbek judoka managed to earn a bronze medal as he beat a below-par Tbilisi Grand Prix gold medallist Tal Flicker from Israel to clinch his first IJF medal of the season.
