Vote for Jaloliddin Masharipov in the AFC Champions League Toyota Player of the Week poll

In data provided by OPTA, the official data provider for the Asian Football Confederation, eight players are nominated with the winner to be decided by the Asian football fans in our poll at the bottom.

Esteghlal FC star Mehdi Ghaedi, who shone during the Iranian side's 3-0 win over Al Ahli Saudi FC, was top of OPTA's ratings this week after he received an impressive 8.6 rating following a goal and an assist in the comprehensive victory for the Tehran giants.

The 21-year-old playmaker was heavily involved in all three goals, won three duels, two tackles and also created four chances for teammates with an 82% passing accuracy.

Fellow Iranian, Sajjad Shahbazzadeh (below), was also on target for his club Sepahan FC as the Isfahan side signed off their 2020 AFC Champions League campaign with a 2-1 win over Al Sadd SC.

The 30-year-old forward's goal came from two shots on target, while he also made five recoveries, won four duels and created two chances for teammates and made 29 passes at a 90% passing accuracy for his 7.7 OPTA rating.

A third man from IR Iran rounds out the top three as Ehsan Pahlevan's role as creator in Persepolis FC's stunning 4-0 win over the UAE's Sharjah was recognised by OPTA. The 27-year-old winger (below) was in particularly incisive form as from his crosses two of Persepolis' goals were headed home.

As well as completing three dribbles and putting on a passing clinic with a 92% passing accuracy, Pahlevan matched his inspiration with industry as he also won six duels and made five recoveries to earn a 7.7 OPTA rating.

Despite only being on the field for 45 minutes, Al Ain striker Kodjo Laba's impact was such that he made it into fourth place in OPTA's rankings for Matchday Six with a 7.6 score.

The Togolese international (below) scored the game's only goal in a 1-0 over Saudi Arabia's Al Nassr to ensure the Emirati side ended their Continental campaign on a high and also put on a typically all-action performance winning duels (2), tackles (1) and recoveries (1) as well creating a chance for teammates (1).

Pakhtakor's Jaloliddin Masharipov, who registered a 7.6, scored the Uzbek side's only goal in a 1-0 win over Shahr Khodro FC, while Al Sadd striker Hashim Ali also found the net in the Qatari side's defeat to Sepahan for his 7.6 rating.

Rounding off the Matchday Six candidates were Persepolis pair Shojae Khalilzadeh and Isa Alkasir, both of whom scored and registered matching 7.5 OPTA scores
