We have never been buyers of Shomurodov!

The sports director of the Sassuolo club, Giovanni Rossi, representing the Italian Serie A, once again touched on the issue of Eldor Shomurodov. The Italian specialist denied that the team wanted to get the Uzbek striker into their ranks.

After Roma announced their separation from Eldor Shomurodov, there were reports that the Uzbek striker was offered offers from FC Monza, FC Bologna, FC Sassuolo, FC Torino, FC Wolverhampton, FC Galatasaray and FC Besiktas.

Sources claim that of these teams, only Bologna has held serious negotiations with the capital club. But the parties could not come to a single decision on the form and amount of the transfer.

During his career, Eldor Shomurodov played 221 matches in the top divisions of Uzbekistan, Russia and Italy, hit the opponents' goal 45 times and gave 23 assists to his teammates.
