Zarrukh Adashev is working with famous UFC fighters in sparring

Another Uzbek fighter, Zarrukh Adashev (3-2-0), will hold his next fight on January 20. He will face China's Su Mudaerji (13-4-0) in the UFC ON ESPN 20 tournament. Earlier he was scheduled to fight Jeff Molina (8-2-0). However, due to the detection of coronavirus in Molina, the opponent had changed.

We asked Adashev how he was preparing for the fight and who was becoming a sparring partner.

- Preparations are going well. Now that the pandemic is raging again in New York, I’m training in New Jersey. Yesterday, the last sparring took place. Usually, my brother would always be my sparring partner. This time I worked with others because he stayed in New York. They are the most well-known representatives of the UFC, Frankie Edgar and Timur Valiev. My Chinese opponent is the master of wushu sanda. He works great on the stand. It was Frankie and Timur who helped me prepare for his strengths. I think I will try to win and make everyone happy.
