Tokyo-2020. Jordan and Hong Kong play out a goalless stalemate in Tashkent

At the Transportation Institute Stadium, Jordan and Hong Kong battled to a goalless draw. Jordan came into the match as favourites, having enjoyed an impressive buildup but the East Asian proved to be defensively resolute.

Both sides made changes in the second half to add more firepower but neither team were able to find a goal. Jordan will face Uzbekistan in their second Group B fixture, while Hong Kong play Vietnam on Saturday.
