Another Uzbek fighter penciled the contract with UFC and makes debut on Khabib vs Gaethje card

MMA fighter Lilya Shakirova has signed a four-fight contract with the UFC promotion. The date of the fight is also announced. On October 24, Shakirova will rise to the octagon at UFC 254 tournament, the main event of which was a fight between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Justin Geathje.

His opponent will be Lauren Murphy. In fact, Murphy was supposed to clash with Cynthia Calvillo but Calvillo was detected positive for Covid 19 and replaced by Shakirova. If all checks are satisfactory, Shakirova will fly to Abu Dhabi tomorrow.

Murphy (13-4) won her past three contests. She's coming off back-to-back decision wins over Andrea Lee and Roxanne Modafferi.

Shakirova (8-1) out of Uzbekistan, has fought for the likes of WLF W.A.R.S and Fight Nights Global. In her most recent fight, she won the Gorilla Fighting Championship (GFC) flyweight title.
