The sports delegation of Uzbekistan met the leaders of AFC and FIFA in Saudi Arabia. This was reported by the press service of UFA.

First, during the meeting, the President of the Asian Football Confederation, Sheikh Salman Al-Khalifa, spoke with the Minister of Youth Policy and Sports, Adham Ikramov, and the First Vice-President of the UFA, Ravshan Irmatov, about his impressions of his visit to Uzbekistan, and expressed his desire to hold a number of prestigious events in our country in the future.

They exchanged views on the opportunities created for the talents being trained in our football in U-17, U-20, U-23 categories. A meeting was also organized with FIFA President Gianni Infantino. In it, Infantino specifically noted that his visit to Uzbekistan made a special impression on him.

The parties exchanged views on the preparation for the Futsal World Cup and the process of establishing the national football center. In his turn, the head of FIFA said that he will not spare his support for the use of international experience in the construction of the center.
