Uzbek judokas claim two medals in the 2019 Tbilisi Grand Prix

More than 400 athletes from 55 countries competed for medals in men’s and women’s divisions as the 9-athlete squad of Uzbekistan claimed two medals in the 2019 Tbilisi Grand Prix.

2019 Marrakech Grand Prix bronze medallist Mukhammadkarim Khurramov of Uzbekistan saw off Italian Giuliano Loporchio with two waza-ari scores in the penultimate contest of the -100kg category and earned a bronze medal.

2019 Marrakech Grand Prix winner Uzbekistan’s Sharafuddin Lutfillaev dismissed Mongolian Boldbaatar Ganbat after two minutes of golden score with an uchi-mata to win his 13th Grand Prix medal.
