Uzbekistan to struggle with Pakistan in Asia-Oceania Group I Davis Cup

The-second-seeded Uzbekistan will struggle with Pakistan in the upcoming Asia-Oceania Group I Davis Cup clash in Islamabad on April 6 and 7.

Team captain Petr Lebed called Denis Istomin, Sanjar Sayfiev, Jurabek Karimov, Humoyun Sultonov and Farrukh Dustov to Uzbek side.

This is the third time that the two countries will be facing each other nearly after a gap of 19 years. While the record falls in favour of Uzbekistan, who won both previous encounters in 1996 and 1999, Pakistan will be hoping to book a place in the next round against all odds.
