Uzbekistan's last boxer leave the 2018 Women’s World Boxing Championships without a medal

All of the athletes knew that a World Championship medal was on the line, and none of them left anything in the ring.

Only Guzal Ismatova out of nine boxers from Uzbekistan reached the quarterfinals beating Hungarian Juhasz Adrienn in the Preliminaries on Sunday.

However, Ismatova failed to earn a semifinal spot as she lost the decisive bout to Russian Tkacheva Kristina at the KD Jadhav Indoor Stadium on Tuesday.
