Jasurbek Latipov to make his professional boxing debut in Andijan

Uzbek amateur standout Jasurbek Latipov (0-0) has signalled his intention to make his professional boxing debut, following in the footsteps of many other top Uzbek amateurs stars in recent years.

​Latipov was a genuine fantastic amateur winning 3 medals at the AIBA World Championships, including silver medals in the 2013 and 2017 versions of the tournament, where he lost to Misha Aloyan and Yosvany Veitía respectively, and a gold at the 2017 Asian championships, where the Uzbek team picked up 9 of the 10 possible gold medals.
