Laylo Sobirova competes for a gold medal at the tournament in Krasnoyarsk

Athletes from Uzbekistan are fighting for victory among 475 athletes from 24 countries at the XXXVI International Freestyle Wrestling Tournament “Ivan Yarygin Cup” in Krasnoyarsk (Russia).

Aktenge Keunimjaeva, member of Uzbekistan's national team and participant of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, won a bronze medal at yesterday's women's wrestling competition. Our compatriot defeated Ksenia Stankevich of Belarus in the fight for third place. 

Today, January 25, another representative of our national team Laylo Sobirova will fight for the gold medal. At the semi-final stage, Laylohon defeated her rival from Russia in one minute.
