Uzbek specialist became the head coach of a foreign club

Uzbek specialist Islom Akhmedov, working in the neighboring Kyrgyz Republic, after leaving the post of director of the academy of the Bunyodkor club in early 2023.

SPORTS.uz reports that a few days ago he became the head coach of the club “Abdysh -Ota”. The former mentor of the team, Afrikan Abdurakhman, who led "Abdish-Ota" for 3 years, left his post.

The contract with a specialist with Turkish and Dutch citizenship has been terminated by mutual agreement of the parties. He was replaced by Uzbek specialist Islom Akhmedov, who previously held this position. Last year, our representative worked as a consultant coach in the coaching staff of the Dordoi club. The contract with Akhmedov was signed before the end of this year.
