Air Force head coach: Our three players to miss tomorrow's match against FC Pakhtakor

They have previously not progressed beyond the group stage, but will no doubt be buoyed by their hat-trick of AFC Cup title successes in 2016, 2017 and 2018.

Iraqi side will face 2018 Uzbekistan Super League runners-up FC Pakhtakor in AFC Champions League Preliminary match at the Pakhtakor Stadium on Tuesday.

Air Force Club head coach Qosim Bosim attended the pre-match press conference at Pakhtakor Stadium this afternoon.

“We did our best to prepare for this match in a good mood. Iraqi League is going on and we managed to play two draws with strong teams.”

“FC Pakhtakor is tough team as their left wingers can be headache in tomorrow’s clash. Our three players have to miss the match due to injury.”

“Of course, AFC Cup is also prestigious tournament that we claimed the title in the last three editions. Our strong side is not only to perform as a whole team, but also a big support of fans at the stadium.”

“I came to Tashkent with my club Al Zarya for AFC Champions League match against FC Pakhtakor in 2005 and we won the match with a 2-1 victory in this stadium. And, I hope we will back home with a win.”
