Server Djeparov joins Kazakhstan Premier League club FC Zhetysu

The 35-year-old completed a move to FC Zhetysu from Iran Gulf Pro League side FC Esteghlal after Djeparov will leave the club after the parties could not agree on the terms to renew his contract.

Uzbekistan international played for Uzbekistan’s FC Navbahor, FC Pakhtakor, FC Bunyodkor, FC Lokomotiv, K-League side FC Seoul and Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma, Saudi Professional League club Al Shabab FC. He received the Asian Footballer of the Year award twice, first in 2008 and the other in 2011.
