Uzbekistan Cup. The 1/8 Finals were finished off | Review

The second leg of the Uzbekistan Cup 1/8 Finals was finished off as five other quarter-finals were identified yesterday evening.

Uzbekistan Cup. FC Mash'al have stunned FC Yozyovon Lochinlari in the 1/8 Finals. FC Mash’al have continued their Uzbekistan Cup campaign Wednesday evening courtesy of a 5-0 win over FC Yozyovon Lochinlari at Bahrom Vafoev Stadium on the second leg of the 1/8 finals. The visitors knew that only a 5-0 win over opponents would provide them a ticket for the quarter-finals, but it was FC Mash’al that went to the break with a 2-0 lead after Maradona Safarov broke the deadlock and Sardor Abduraimov doubled the scoring. Maradona Safarov managed to score his second personal goal before Abbos Omonov added to the lead and Siroj Meliev completed the scoring before the final whistle.

FC Neftchi have booked a ticket for the quarter-finals. FC Neftchi have gained a ticket for the quarter-finals of Uzbekistan Cup after they defeated FC Navbahor on aggregate with a goal advantage option in the second leg of the 1/8 finals. Hamza Karimov gave the Falcons an early lead after he scored a goal into his own net, but Sherzod Hakimov got Fergana side back on level terms as they had the better of the first half. However, FC Navbahor regrouped and Nemanja Janicic's penalty-kick effort secured a victory for Ilkhom Muminjonov's team at Navbahor Stadium. But, FC Neftchi have secured a spot in the quarter-finals as they had won FC Navbahor with a 1-0 score at home.

FC Shurtan have finished their Uzbekistan Cup campaign as they lost to FC Bunyodkor. FC Shurtan ended their Uzbekistan Cup campaign with a 3-0 defeat by FC Bunyodkor in the second leg of the 1/8 finals at the Bunyodkor Stadium this evening.  Nurillo Tukhtasinov opened the scoring for the hosts before Dostonbek Khamdamov added to the lead from a 12-yard penalty spot. Shahzodbek Nurmatov completed the scoring before the final whistle.

FC Lokomotiv grabbed a 6-1 aggregate victory over FC Kizilkum. FC Kizilkum welcomed the defending champions FC Lokomotiv to Navoi in the second leg of Uzbekistan Cup 1/8 Finals on Wednesday evening knowing that a 6-0 win would move them to the next round. Both teams had chances in what was an open first 45 minutes, but both sides entered the interval with a 0-0 scoring a goalless half-time. But, it was FC Lokomotiv that broke the deadlock through Murod Bobojonov who opened the scoring in the 59th minute of the game. FC Kizilkum levelled in the 87th minute through Erkin Baydullaev, however, they stopped their campaign in this competition.
