Andijan hosts sports festival under the name "We are for peace and tranquility!"

The Andijan College of the Olympic Reserve hosted a sports festival under the motto "We are for peace and tranquility!"

Heads of the regional federations took part in the festival in more than ten sports: karate, wushu, taekwondo, boxing, sambo, weightlifting, freestyle wrestling, national and belbogli-kurash, Uzbek jang san’ati (Uzbek martial arts), kickboxing, fencing, athletes who achieved high results, pupils of children's and youth sports schools, informs Uzbekistan National Information Agency.

In each sport, young talented athletes showed their skills and were awarded valuable gifts and diplomas. The winners of the Olympics and world champions Muhammadkodir Abdullayev and Utkir Khaidarov also took part in the festival.
