After the news of Yusupov's departure appeared a few months ago, the management was looking for a new goalkeeper to replace him. Former Nasaf goalkeeper Azamat Soyibov was the favorite among the options.

But with the change of the coaching staff, the plans also changed. Namangan club decided to sign a contract with Neftchi goalkeeper Sanjar Kuvvatov. If Samvel Babayan had stayed, the Navbahor club would have brought Soyibov.
