Uzbekistan’s Nodirbek Abdusattorov takes the fourth place in the 1st ALAIN Juniors Chess Championship

Uzbekistan’s Nodirbek Abdusattorov earned the fourth place in the international youth tournament the 1st ALAIN Juniors Chess Championship, which was held from 29th December 2017 to 6th January 2018 in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates.

The first and second places were shared by the 20-year-old IM Harutyunian Tigran K. (Armenia, 2487) and GM Ghosh Diptayan (India, 2556). The thirteen-year-old Nodirbek Abdusattorov won 6 wins, formalized two grandmaster draws as he lost the only match to the leader of the tournament.

Nodirbek also played in the fast chess (blitz) - ALAIN Blitz Open Championship and he was named in the top eight.
