Ex-Man Utd star Andrei Kanchelskis leads Uzbek club FC Navbahor

The 49-year-old signed a three-month contract with FC Navbahor with an option that will be extended according to this season’s results. Russian international will be assisted by Aleksey Belenkov and local assistants.

He had a colourful, controversial and nomadic playing career and his life has followed the same pattern since hanging up his boots.

However, his post-playing career was not successful as a head coach that he coached FC Torpedo-ZIL Moscow, FC Ufa, FC Jūrmala and FC Solyaris Moscow.
