As you know, our compatriot Akbar Juraev won 2 gold medals in the men's -109 kg weight category at the world championship held in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, in September of this year.

Our wrestler, who deservedly defended the honor of the country, raised our flag high in the world arena, and caused our national anthem to be played, was duly awarded by the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan and awarded with a Chevrolet Gentra car. Shahrillo Mahmudov, Deputy Minister of Youth Policy and Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan - First Deputy Chairman of the Weightlifting Federation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, took part in the award ceremony.
