Andrey Miklayev returns as Lokomotiv boss

The 52-year-old returns on a permanent basis for a third time, in addition to two stints as caretaker boss, with highly experienced former Uzbekistan international Timur Kapadze also joining as an assistant.

Miklayev takes the hot seat with the Tashkent club in the midst of their worst run of form in a number of years.

A string of defeats led to the departure of former boss Andrey Fedorov earlier this month, with Dilshod Nuraliev losing his three matches as interim boss, including a 7-0 derby defeat to Pakhtakor and a 4-0 humbling at the hands of Nasaf on Thursday.

In total, Lokomotiv have lost five matches in a row, putting them on track for their worst campaign since the 2010 season, when they were relegated from the top flight of Uzbek football.
