Chess. An international tournament with a prize fund of 50 thousand US dollars will be held in Tashkent

From March 5 to 12, the capital will host the international chess tournament among women “Women's Chess Championship".

The tournament is held according to the Swiss system in 9 rounds. In it, women play, divided into two groups.

The main group “A” includes chess players with a rating of 1500 and above, and in group "B" - chess players with a rating of 1499 and below. At the same time, the FIDE rating (standard) is determined as of March 1, 2023.

The time control is as follows: 90 minutes and 30 seconds for each movement, starting from the first move.

The total prize fund of the tournament in Tashkent is 50,000 US dollars.
