Doston Yakubov recognised as the Best Weightlifter of the Year 2017

The Uzbekistan Weightlifting Federation awarded athletes and coaches for their contribution to the development of weightlifting in Uzbekistan.

Uzbekistan weightlifting national team earned a place in the top three in the last World Weightlifting Championship in the history. In the category of 69 kg, Doston Yakubov managed to claim a gold medal in this competition.

In the solemn banquet summed up the results of 2017, Yakubov was recognised as the Best Weightlifter of the Year 2017, his coach Farhod Mirzadzhanov became the Best Coach of the Year 2017.
