Nodirbek Abdusattorov awarded the Best Junior Chess Player of Asia

Al Ain hosted the Asian Chess Summit, which was organized by the Asian Chess Federation (ACF). It was attended by representatives of FIDE, the leadership of the ACF, presidents, delegates and representatives of chess federations of Asian and Oceania countries.

On the final day of the summit, the 4th Annual Asian Chess Excellence Awards was held as the representatives of Uzbekistan were also awarded, reports the Chess Federation of Uzbekistan.

Uzbekistan national youth chess team named as the Best Youth Chess Team in Asia of the Year 2016 as it was received by the President of the Central Asian Chess Zone, First Vice-President of the Chess Federation of Uzbekistan, International referee Husan Turdialiyev.

The youngest grandmaster in the world at this time, Nodirbek Abdusattorov was recognised as the Best Junior Chess Player of Asia in 2016. (Following the results of 2017, the prizes will be awarded in a year).
