Ravshan Irmatov to take part in the 2018 FIFA World Cup Referee Candidate Seminar

Uzbekistan’s referee Ravshan Irmatov has been selected to officiate the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia and attend the 2018 FIFA World Cup Referee Candidate Seminar in Doha, Qatar. FIFA Referee Ravshan Irmatov will attend the Seminar from Feb. 5 to 9 as one of 36 candidate referees for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.

Seminar attendees will take part in practical on-field sessions, theoretical sessions which include topical discussions and video tests, as well as medical evaluations and fitness testing.

The Asian Football Confederation will be represented by Fahad Al-Mirdasiy (Saudi Arabia), Aliriso Faganiy (Iran), Muhammad Abdullah (UAE), Ryuji Sato (Japan), Nawaf Shukrullah (Bahrain) and Uzbekistan’s FIFA referee Ravshan Irmatov.

In November, Irmatov also took part in the training camp for referees, which was organized in Abu Dhabi.
