Ravshan Irmatov: without high-quality refereeing, we are not be able to create high-quality football

A dialogue with football fans took place in the Fergana region under the leadership of FAU Vice-Presidents Ravshan Irmatov and Azizbek Ikramov. This is reported by the FAA press service.

At the beginning of the conversation, information was given about the work being carried out today according to a clear plan for the development of football in Uzbekistan, about holding international competitions, expanding the geography of tournaments, about organizing Games of our national teams in Ferghana. The direction of refereeing, which is an integral part of football, was also touched upon in detail. The situations that have caused objections of the Fergana fans about this in recent days are analyzed.

- Shortcomings in the work of judges are one of the main tasks that we have yet to complete. We always say that we cannot create high-quality football without high-quality refereeing. Therefore, we are working on training, retraining, improving the experience of our judges, attracting international specialists to the judicial Center. In turn, international competitions in our country have shown that we must pay serious attention to the culture of fans. We plan to hold important tournaments in Ferghana in the future," Ravshan Irmatov said.

During the meeting, episodes related to the refereeing of the matches of the Neftchi club were discussed. The opinions of the fans were listened to and their questions were answered.
