Rustam Tulaganov returns to the ring against Ekimov in title fight

Rio Olympics bronze medalist light heavyweight Rustam Tulaganov has been announced to fight on August 15th in Sochi, Russia. Russia's Sergei Ekimov has been clarified to fight with Rustam Tulaganov in the 10-round fight for WBC International light heavyweight title.

Rustam Tulaganov (3-0, 1 KO) has signed a contract with the Russian Patriot Boxing promotions. He has beaten Norbert Dabrowski (23-9-2 10KO) in his last fight after which Tulaganov was ranked 15th in WBA.

34 year-old Ekimov (18-2, 9KOs) had 2 loses in row in against Ricards Bolotniks(16-5, 7KOs) and Ali Izmailov(3-0 1KO) both by decision.
