Rio Olympics champion Hasanboy Dusmatov will have his second fight in professional boxing. Dusmatov will face the host boxer Artem Tkachenko (5-0, 3 KOs) on January 24 in Russia.

- Why are you fighting in the super flyweight? Is this weight comfortable for you?

- I was told about the fight 14 days ago. So from a health point of view, I did not want to lose 5-6 kg. Because my natural weight is 55-56 kg. In the end, I chose the this category.

- This is the weight class of your opponent Artyom Tkachenko. So you may have trouble?

- I saw a couple of fights of Tkachenko. He is more experienced than me in the professional ring. He fought 5 fights and won all of them. Still, I’m ready for this fight. I hope that if we are lucky, we will win and make everyone happy. In short, I believe in myself!

- What is new about the visa issue?

- Probably after the New Year. Our managers also told me that I would go to the US and train there.

- Did you talk to your manager Vadim Kornilov about the contract and your future in general?

- Of course, we talk a lot about it. He promised me to go to the ring for the championship title in my 3rd or 4th fight and said he would work hard at it.

- Will your coach Ziyoyiddin Taygonbaev accompany you in this fight?

- Of course, my coach will be with me.

- The process of adaptation is also important. I mean, when are you going to go to Russia?

- No tickets have been purchased yet. But we are planning for December 21st.
