IHF Handball Cup: our youth team took the second place, and the junior team - the fourth place

  Kosovo hosted the intercontinental stage of the International Handball Federation (IHF) Cup among the U-19 and U-21 national teams.

The competition was attended by the teams that won the qualifying tournaments held in Europe, Africa, South, Central and North America, the Caribbean, Asia and Oceania.

Our athletes defended the honor of the Asian continent. Our U-19 national team competed with representatives of the USA for the third place, but, unfortunately, lost to the opponent with the score 36:38. The first place was taken by the national team of Kosovo, the second - by the national team of Nigeria, and the third - by the national team of the USA. Our athletes are in fourth place, followed by the teams of Nicaragua and New Caledonia. 

Among the U-21 national teams our athletes competed with the USA national team for the first place. The match ended with the victory of the USA with the score 32:33. The third place was won by the Rwandan team, the fourth - by representatives of Bulgaria, the fifth and sixth - by the teams of Nicaragua and New Caledonia respectively.
