Christian Gross: We should increase the efficiency in the front line to beat the rivals

Tomorrow, Saudi Arabia’s Al Ahli FC will start their campaign in 2017 AFC Champions League with an opening match against Uzbekistan Oliy League club FC Bunyodkor at King Abdullah Sports City will be kicked off at 17:15 (GMT).

Ahead of this match, Saudi Arabia side head coach Christian Gross participated in the pre-match press conference in front of the media.

"In all competitions which we competed, we faced off strong teams all the time. But, we focused on the victory in each match looking forward to getting the better results. In this season, my guys will need to beat the three of Asian clubs who play a more robust game."

"Tomorrow’s clash will be a really tough match like every opening match in each tournament. We will seek to begin with a victory over Uzbekistan's FC Bunyodkor by increasing the efficiency in the front line. I must be hard to earn three points, but we will have to defeat the rivals as all the teams are looking for 10 points to qualify for the next round."
