Doston Khamdamov to back home to play for FC Pakhtakor in Uzbek League

In rumours, the 22-year-old midfielder already agreed FC Pakhtakor deal and chose his jersey number in Tashkent side.

Russian Premier League club FC Anzhi added Doston Khamdamov into their side in 2018 spring as the sides penned the 18-month contract. Russian side are preparing for the upcoming season with 27 players except for Doston Khamdamov.

After the 2019 AFC Asian Cup, Doston Khamdamov backed to Uzbekistan and sign the contract with FC Pakhtakor these days.

Khamdamov scored 33 goals for FC Bunyodkor in 82 matches and claimed Uzbekistan Supercup title in 2014. He showed a good performance in Uzbekistan U-16 side as they became AFC U-16 Championship winners in 2012.

Doston Khamdamov was named as Asian Young Footballer of the Year in 2015. He was also one of the key players for Uzbekistan U-23 team in the winning way to earn 2018 AFC U-23 Championship title.
