Israil Madrimov seeing only the Asian Games gold medal

The 23-year-old boxer talked to the media in the pre-tournament press conference at the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan.

“Being a flag bearer of Uzbekistan in Asian Games has a huge responsibility and I’m so happy that I’m leading my country in the opening ceremony. I will do my best to claim a gold medal since I have enough motivation to become a champion in Asian Games this time. I wish a best of luck to all my compatriots who will represent Uzbekistan in Indonesia.”

Uzbekistan’s 232 athletes will participate in 32 sports events in the 18th edition of the Asian Games in Indonesia from the July 18th to August 2nd.
