The first-half goal from Mirgiyos Sulaymonov earned FC Metallurg a 1-0 victory over FC Shurtan in the Uzbekistan Oliy Liga.

FC Metallurg went to the break with a 1-0 lead after Mirgiyos Sulaymonov broke the 40-minute deadlock for his side.

FC Shurtan created enough chances to have found an equaliser, but Gennadiy Kochnev's side lacked a clinical touch in the final 45 minutes on a frustrating evening in Guzar.
