Oliy Liga. FC Pakhtakor continue eight-game unbeaten streak

FC Pakhtakor continued their 8-match unbeaten run in Uzbekistan Oliy Liga as they claim a 3-1 victory over FC Mash’al this evening.

The Lions' perfect start at the Pakhtakor Stadium saw Igor Sergeev’s opening goal as he stole the spotlight with a stunning strike to give the hosts a lead after just 12 minutes. Marko Simic increased the scoring in the 40th minute by ensuring a 2-0 lead for his side at the interval.

Sardor Abduraimov halved the deficit in the early minutes of the second period, but it was Shota Arveladze’s side, who added the third to that lead via Gidi Kanyuk.
