Uzbekistan announce a five-men squad for Davis Cup Qualifiers against Serbia
Saxovat Sport Servis Sport Complex will host the best Uzbekistan players and 2010 champion Serbia without Novak Djokovic.
After playing away ties in 2017 and 2018, Uzbekistan will finally have a chance to play in front of the home fans for the first time since September 2016 when they lost a tight clash against Switzerland.
In the last Davis Cup tie of 2018 season, Uzbekistan fought well against Great Britain in Glasgow before losing 3-1 but they are ranked high enough to secure the place in the Davis Cup Qualifiers that will take place between February 1-2.
Denis Istomin will lead Uzbekistan for the 15th straight year, winning 34 Davis Cup ties as Sanjar Fayziev, Khumoyun Sultanov, Sergey Fomin and Jurabek Karimov will contest to beat the Serbs without Novak.
