Uzbekistan's Amir Turaev gains gold medal at the 2018 World Taekwondo Junior Championships

Uzbekistan’s athletes started their participation at the 2018 World Taekwondo Junior Championships in Hammamet, Tunisia.

In the first day of the tournament, Amir Turaev from Uzbekistan reached the final after he eliminated all his opponents.

However, he lost the final contest to Iranian athlete and claimed silver medal. Today, Uzbekistan’s other four athletes Shakhzod Juraev and Ulugbek Rashidov in boy’s division and Madina Mannopova and Aziza Shamsieva in girl’s division will begin their campaign in Hammamet.
