World Champion Shakhram Giyasov makes a debut in professional boxing

World Champion and Olympic silver medallist Shakhram Giyasov of Uzbekistan has finished his career in amateur boxing and he will make a debut in professional boxing as he went to the United States.

Giyasov became famous around the world after he celebrated his victories in the style of Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo during the 2016 Rio Summer Olympic Games, which gave silver medal to Uzbek boxer.

He claimed a gold medal in the 2017 ASBC Asian Boxing Championship, was held in Tashkent, and earned a spot in the World Championship. Giyasov showed his best performance and gained a gold medal in the 2017 AIBA World Championship in Hamburg, Germany.
