The 30th Abu Dhabi International Chess Festival has ended in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. A total of 32 chess players defended the honor of our country in the competition that started on August 14.
Competitions in the "Masters", "Open A" and "Open B" groups of the tournament, with a total prize pool of 104 thousand 50 US dollars, have ended. Happily, Nodirbek Yakubboev finished as the leader of this group. Also, Shamsiddin Vahidov took a place in the top three.

Blitz matches were also held among the under-16s. The good news is that our representative Humoyun Begmuratov won the fourth place and won a cash prize of 200 US dollars.
Another representative of "Juniors" group, Akobirkhan Saidaliev, took the 6th place and received a cash prize. Also, Akbar Yakubboev took 11th, Ikromjon Halilov 13th, Asilbek Abdulazizov 56th, and Azizjon Abdukarimov took 125th place.
"Juniors" - Under 14, more precisely, in the group of chess players under the age of 14 of the "Juniors" category, Akbar Yakubboev took 3rd place and was awarded 150 US dollars.
Our representative Asmina Abdulazizovna, who participated in the "Juniors" - Under U8 group, occupied the third place until the last round, but the defeat in the 3rd round deprived her of the prize place. Only 0.5 points were not enough for him.
Also, at this festival, blitz competitions were held in the category of schoolchildren, and our representatives recorded high results.
Asmina Abdulazizova, a student of "Cambridge International School" won the 3rd place in the "Schools G7" (girls) group. He managed to score a total of 5 points after 7 rounds.
In addition, at the end of the meetings held in the "Schools B7" (boys) group, Daniyor Rahimov (45th city school) took the 5th place after 7 rounds.
Two Uzbek chess players who took part in the "Schools B13" (boys) group, Asilbek Abdulazizov (Cambridge International School) and Usmonkhan Tahirjonov (Sky Chess) took 40th place.
In the "Schools B15" (boys) group, Sayyid Usman Shamsuddin took 10th place, Akbar Yakubboev took 19th place, and Asadbek Abdulazizov took 47th place.
Mumtazbegim Mansurova, who managed to score 5.5 points in the "Schools G15" (girls) group, took the second place in her group:
