Athletes participating in the Special Olympics were welcomed at the airport

The Uzbek delegation, which performed brilliantly at the 2025 Special Olympics World Winter Games in Turin, has returned to Uzbekistan.

The athletes were solemnly welcomed at Tashkent International Airport. The ceremony was attended by Deputy Sports Minister Avazjon Karimov, Special Olympics President Dmitry Adisman and Vice President Zakir Avezov, representatives of the Association of Adaptive Sports, as well as members of the public.

It should be noted that our athletes demonstrated high skill and won 16 medals: 9 gold, 4 silver and 3 bronze.
