Azizbek Abdugafurov to expire a contract with Queensberry

WBC Silver super middleweight champion Azizbek Abdugafurov (13-0, 5KOs) signed a contract with the British company Queensberry Promotion. However, Abdugafurov has asked to expire the contract and is waiting for official confirmation. We were interested in the views of his manager, Vikram Svapragasam, on this issue.

- We have asked Queensberry Promotion to terminate the contract and are awaiting its outcome. Due to the coronavirus, it was not possible at all to fight in the UK. We want to take him to the United States to fight and train. I have offers from other promotional companies. But I can’t reveal that right now. Azizbek Abdugafurov had 13 fights in the professional ring and won all of them. In 5 of them he was able to knock out his opponents.
